Release Notes

This is the basic image processing version of OMA that doesn't support cameras or digital I/O. Version 3.0 is a 32-bit application. This version is compatible with Mac OS 10.6 and later and includes a plugin for viewing OMA files in coverflow. Now you can drag and drop OMA files onto any OMA window to open and display them.

C Source Files for OMA Application
Xcode 5.0 Project file

OMA uses Xcode as its main development environment. This version includes the Software Development Kit (SDK) that makes it easier to add your own functions to OMA.

This is all you need to start modifying the Source Code to implement your own image processing solutions. See the SDK Documentation for information on how to make changes to the code or add menu commands into the parser.  See the full list of new features in the Release Notes; previous release notes are in 'Developer Readme.'

C Source File for OMA Application -
This version has basic image processing and PIV functionality. It has MOST of the commands available in the Mac 2.05 version. The graphical user interface lacks the refinement of the Mac version.

This version is currently undergoing development. We realise that for OMA to be more generally useful it must be available across other platforms. This version was tested on RedHat 9. Contributions welcomed.

C Source File for the OS9 OMA Application -
This version is no longer being developed and is not supported. This version is still very functional because it can use old hardware drivers for which new OS X drivers are not yet availble, so it is provided as a convenience only.

This version is called imp. It runs in Classic
Mode on OSX.
